N1242S Returns to the Sky

Today was not only a good soaring day but a good day for NESA. Our yellow 2-33 made two successful hour+ test flights today after completion of the rebuild, recover, repaint, new weight and balance and of course an annual inspection.

Bill flew the first flight and Alasdair the second. Both reported normal handling after conducting a variety of stalls, spin entries etc. Welcome back N1242S.

Thanks to all who helped with this project, now come out and fly it!

Almost there..

Just a little paperwork and a test flight to go. N1242S is back in its tie-down and almost back on the line. Huge thanks to Bill and all the volunteers who have helped with the rebuild, recover and refurbishment.
